I'm hooked........
I had an e-newsletter from the MS Society this morning.
I think this might be a case of the cure being worse than the affliction
Sandra they also reckon that people who have worms are less likely to suffer with Asthma and Allergies. But I don't know whether I could stand the thought of them in my body! But then again they are using maggots on wounds that won't heal, with fantastic results..
Rosanna, funny...I thought of the Dune sandworms too.
Debbie, yes the allergy reducing effect of worm infestation is well known..something to do with suppressing the body's immune system. And using leeches and maggots on dying tissue has been going on for ages.
There's just something really unappetising about having 25 parasites which look like THAT floating around my system.
I couldn't...but then again, if the research proves it..it'll be brilliant. However...as for leeches. No - not ever, have also realised that worms might be on the cards for us at some point in the future with small children. Yuck Yuck Yuck

Look very much a Dune sandworm...I'm not sure this is not a Doctor House's style therapy. But if it helps...

What if they go on the rampage?
