NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!........

Woke early this morning to the news that our much-loved Victorian pier has been all but destroyed by fire in the night.

I came over all emotional when I saw the video of it ablaze and looking at the smouldering remains this morning, it's difficult to see how a phoenix can arise from its ashes.

Buggrit, buggrit, buggrit.......

This happened to our pier in Weston-Super-mare,Somerset, a few years ago. We were all shocked, but it has been rebuilt. So I share with you your shock,

It looks so very lonely sat out there this morning, and the town smells of it still. But tbh it’s typical of this town, have you noticed how everything old and controversial ends up burning down?

Very sad really as a lot of family history with the place.
